Congratulation again! Dr. Takashi Hirama (belongs to the department of respiratory medicine, Saitama Medical University) won the 7th Investigator’s Award of the Japanese Society of Chemotherapy from the Japanese Society of Chemotherapy, following the 23rd Young Investigator’s Award of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine from the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine.

The remarkable awards are presented for the best presentation in the annual meeting of the Japanese Society of Chemotherapy or the outstanding achievement published in the Journal of Infection and Chemotherapy.

 The award ceremony has been held on June 2010 in the 58^th annual meeting of Japanese Society of Chemotherapy in Nagasaki, Japan.

 Dr. Takashi Hirama has been awarded the Respiratory Tract Infection Young Investigators Award from the Respiratory Tract Infection Study Group, Japan, which is sponsored by Bayer Health Care, Japan, for his presentation in the 48th annual meeting of the Japanese Respiratory Society, and the International Trainee Travel Award from the American Thoracic Society for his presentation in the ATS 2009 San Diego.
